Hamburg,Germany: Solidarity with prisoners, attacks on prison profiteers and Italian consulate

In Hamburg the police reported attacks on the Italian consulate and offices and cars of the prison profiteers „chubb“ and „SPIE“. Last week, paint was thrown at the Italian consulate.
During the same week, the offices of SPIE where attacked with paint and stones.
SPIE is involved in the construction of prisons, nuclear plants and other dirty business for years already.
Also this week, a car of CHUBB was put to flames.
CHUBB is responsible for security architecture in Hamburg prisons.
On the Schanzenfest, a rebellious neighbourhood-street-festival, money for prisoners was raised and a big banner in solidarity with Juan was put over the street. Even though it was a rainy day, a lot of people showed up, took the streets, bands played shows and information was spread. After the fest there was a wild demo for people facing repression because of struggles against fascism and power.

The banner says “The struggle against state and fascism is international! Solidarity with the anarchist Juan, incarcered by the Italian state because of attacks onto the fascist Lega Nord. Freedom for all prisoners!”

CHUBB è responsabile dell’architettura di sicurezza delle carceri di Amburgo.
Durante la Schanzenfest, una festa di quartiere ribelle, sono stati raccolti fondi per i prigionieri e un grande striscione in solidarietà con Juan è stato affisso sulla strada.
Anche se era una giornata di pioggia, molte persone si sono presentate, sono scese in strada, le band hanno suonato e sono state diffuse informazioni. Dopo la festa c’è stata una manifestazione selvaggia per quanti affrontano la repressione a causa delle lotte contro il fascismo e il potere.

Lo striscione dice: «La lotta contro lo Stato e il fascismo è internazionale! Solidarietà con l’anarchico Juan, incarcerato dallo Stato italiano a causa degli attacchi alla Lega Nord fascista.
Libertà per tutti i prigionieri!».
