La Corte di Appello di L’Aquila, che si era riunita in udienza lo scorso martedì 12 marzo, oggi ha sciolto le riserve dichiarando Anan Yaeesh inestradabile.

Tra le motivazioni, secondo i magistrati, “vi è motivo di ritenere che Anan, qualora estradato nello Stato di Israele, possa essere sottoposto a trattamenti crudeli, disumani, o comunque ad atti che configurano la violazione di uno dei diritti umani della persona, evincendosi tale rischio dalle relazioni, presentati dalla difesa, di organizzazioni non governative ritenute affidabili sul piano internazionale”.

Anan purtroppo, nonostante il positivo esito, resta in carcere perché raggiunto da un’altra ordinanza di custodia cautelare legata ad un’indagine avviata da parte delle autorità italiane che coinvolge altri due palestinesi residenti in Abruzzo.

Le istanze si spostano dalla scongiurata estradizione verso un livello più nettamente politico
pertanto sarà indispensabile mantenere alta l’attenzione sul caso.

Andremo avanti senza accontentarci di questa prima vittoria.
