Ritrovamento di una microspia al NED

Mercoledì 1° luglio, durante una giornata collettiva di pulizie estive, abbiamo trovato una microspia all’interno del NED, a Roma.
L’apparecchio era attaccato direttamente ad un cavo dell’impianto elettrico del locale, occultato all’interno di un foro del controsoffitto. Grazie ad un chip SIERRA WIRELESS WP7502 (oggi SEMTECH) che permetteva di inviare l’audio rubato tramite rete 2, 3 e 4g (utilizzando una SIM della TIM), la spia poteva essere attivata dal rumore dell’ambiente o a distanza tramite SMS. Oltre al corpo principale era composta da 2 antenne, un trasformatore di corrente ed un microfono.
Dalle informazioni che abbiamo ad oggi, è attiva dal 28 febbraio scorso.
